Chief Operating & Marketing Officer
Pamela Kouroubacalis Jonah is the Chief Operating Officer of Voltree Power Inc. Pamela joined Voltree in November 2013, bringing more than 25 years in public policy, media relations and business consulting to the company. She serves as Voltree’s compass, navigating the company through new business terrain while forging and negotiating U.S. and global industry partnerships. She also serves as CMO for the company, overseeing product branding and education.
An entrepreneur in her own right with a diverse business skill set, Pamela joins Voltree after 16 years of leading her own Boston-based corporate and political communications consulting firm, Jonah Public Relations. An expert in crisis management, Pam has managed local and global media and public affairs campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, government, startups, and has trained CEOs, executive teams and public officials in media and presentation skills. She has been immersed in the corporate sphere working with a spectrum of industries including technology, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, health care, energy, life sciences, real estate development, legal and education, and has also driven B2B and B2C marketing campaigns for the retail and hospitality industries. Pam has worked closely with Boston's most prominent higher academic institutions including MIT, Harvard, Boston University, Northeastern University, Franklin Pierce University and Cambridge College, on issues involving Board of Trustee matters and collaborative research.
Pam earned a BS in Communications from Suffolk University during which time she began her career early in government and public safety. After being tapped by Massachusetts Governor William Weld to serve his administration, she later had the unique privilege and experience of serving as press advisor for three Massachusetts governors, handling high-profile media crises and publicizing policy initiatives. She also managed international press relations during gubernatorial trade missions abroad to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, England and Ireland, traveling with delegations of Massachusetts CEOs and legislators and meeting with presidents, dignitaries and political party leaders.
Pam serves as an advisor and consultant to the Boston Film Festival, providing her services as a publicist for Hollywood actors and filmmakers during their Boston film premieres. Pamela is also a licensed Massachusetts realtor and works closely with her extended families on their retail and commercial real estate businesses.
Pamela has been a guest lecturer at many of Boston's top higher academic institutions, and her current non-profit work includes serving on the Governing Board of Scholarships of America Dollars for Scholar's Lynnfield chapter and as a committee member of Catholic Charities North Fashion Forward for Education fundraiser to benefit educational programs for single mothers, as well as the Catholic Charities North annual Holiday Children's Toy Drive. She also serves the homeless at My Brother's Table in Lynn.
A life-long Bostonian and native of Lynn, Pam resides with her family on the North Shore.
